Since receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Economics from Queens College in 1992, Roy spent several years practicing taxation in New York before coming to California 7 years ago. Since then, Roy has specialized in helping clients navigate through tough issues relating to both individual and business taxes. Roy is a licensed CPA in both California and New York and is a member of the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Before joining Shaw Financial Services, Inc. Roy was Senior Tax Accountant for several CPA firms specializing in individual and business tax planning and tax return preparation. Roy was also responsible for tax compliance and audits of Not for Profits and Homeowner Associations.
